What is the study about?

The MOOSE SWAT will investigate whether the inclusion of a trial information video (available via QR code or URL) within the Participant Information Sheet (PIS) with an introduction to the trial and demonstration of how to use the methotrexate injection device increases recruitment over a PIS without the link.

Who can take part in the study?

Who can take part: Rheumatoid arthritis patients at hospital sites that have been randomised to be part of the SWAT.

What is being tested in the study?

The addition of a link to a video clip explaining the trial and showing a clip of the subcutaneous injection process and associated activities such as safe-disposal of sharps and storage of medicines, to the standard PIS.
